In the year 2023, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish celebrated our 100th Anniversary as a Catholic Church in the Diocese of Shreveport!

Throughout the year, we celebrated with many special events. Notable, in January 2023, we held a special anniversary Mass with Bishop Francis Malone, with honored guests from the history of OLBS Academy and Notre Dame High School.

We are grateful for the "turnout" of the Knights of Peter Claver, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Peter Claver, and all our lay ecclesial organizations who contributed so vitally! What a wonderful way to honor our history and pray for our future!
