As Catholics, we set aside Fridays of the Season of Lent for special penitentiary observances, including the abstention rom meat (e.g., chickens, sheep, pigs, cows and other forms of livestock). However, because fish make their home in the water, the Catholic Church does not consider fish a meat. Therefore we frequently enjoy fish on Lenten Fridays.
Join us at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish for Lenten Fish Fry's every Friday of Lent from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Dinners are $10 for catfish filets, potato salad, green beans, tartar sauce and dessert. Patrons may dine in or take out. We give special thanks to our donors and volunteers who make this possible. It's all about faith, food, and fellowship!
