Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church was founded in 1925 as the first church for African American Catholics in Shreveport, Louisiana. Through these nearly 100 years, our clergy and members have forged a venerable and noble history.  We have educated many generations of students at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Academy and Notre Dame High School. In the year 2023, we celebrated our 100th Anniversary!
