Praise Academy at Lakeside is an elementary school built on the premise of providing an education that will foster children's ability to become productive, employable and active members of their families and community through a Christian and foundational education.   Located in the historic Allendale neighborhood of Shreveport, Praise Academy offers children in the neighborhood the opportunity to attend, regardless of their family's financial needs.

Principal Joan Pingel states, "We believe children have a natural sense of wonder for God's creation and our curriculum opens the door to new opportunities to experience the glory of God's world."
